Mother Necessity

Necessity is the mother of invention because when you want or need something badly enough you try to find a way to make it easier for yourself, therefore inventing something. For example, when Thomas Alva Edison wanted light for his mother to work in he pulled through and invented the light bulb. When Alexander Graham Bell wanted to be able to communicate with someone without having to travel long distances to see them he invented the telephone. When the Wright brothers had the need to fly, they also pulled through and made the first airplane. Without these people we would not have light, telephones, or airplanes. Necessity is how every invention starts!

Philippe I agree with your Mother Necessity. If we didn't have mothers, then we wouldn't have inventors.

But Philippe, why are those things so important. You need to tell us why you need those things, not just saying what people invented. I do sort of agree with you but, I can't fully until you back up your reasonings.

I agree with you Philippe because when you need something the most thats when you get the idea such as when Whitney saw that it took a long time to pick out the cotton so he invented the cotton gin which made the process faster.

I agree with you where you say "Necessity is the mother of invention because when you want or need something badly enough you try to find a way to make it easier for yourself." Since there wouldn't be inventions without a strong need. But i don't think i fully understood the part where you put your evidence using the inventors. Why don't you try Alexander Graham Bell saw the difficulties of the people using inefficient ways of communication so he invented the phone. This way the post doesn't sound like taking the inventors for granted.

I just have one thing to say about this and then I will add on. What about why it is called MOTHER?
Now adding to what I want to say is that I totally agree with you but disagree in the slightest way. For example, I agree with you because when you say they pulled through because they did. They did something that was very important and they DID pull through with it. But I do disagree with you because, they can't just think and think about it: the invention. For example, Benjamin Franklin didn't think oh how can I come up with something to power everything. He was just flying a kite and then lighting struck and BANG there was electricity.
